Anderson Wright is a New York-based filmmaker, busy creating content for brands, athletes, artists, and global agencies.
His career officially began on an airplane. He struck up a conversation about movies with a stranger sitting next to him. She happened to be a legendary Hollywood producer. By the time they landed, he’d been hired as the youngest employee in her company’s history.
Over time Anderson became increasingly fascinated by short form storytelling, and upon graduating from college, hit the ground running to pursue a career as a commercial director. His first step was to write, direct, produce, and edit videos for obscure small businesses in New Jersey. An etiquette school once paid him for his work with free lessons.
Since then, Anderson has directed for a diverse list of clients, including Microsoft, Intel, Mazda, and State Farm. His spot for the app Duet Display has been seen over 8 million times online. Projects for US Olympic fencer Nzingha Prescod, NFL All-Pro running back Arian Foster, and world-renowned artist Li Hongbo all garnered Vimeo Staff Picks. “NZINGHA” was published by National Geographic and The Atlantic, and the Foster-inspired “Where We Dwell” piece was licensed by Snapchat and released on their Discover platform during the 2015 Super Bowl.
